Hello, I am working in a MAC OSX 10.7.4 (Lion), and have installed macosforge Smart Card Services Update v2.0b1 trying to make my ActivIdentity? USB Token (Activkey SIM NOV 11) recognized. After the install, when inserted, I do see a CAC-xxx-xx. In the Keychain. I am trying to use ActivKey USB token in Windows XP guest. Linux can recognize ActivKey, vmware server can see it as Activkey_Sim (in Plugged into host USB devices). When I switch this Actvkey_Sim to be connected on guest, XP recognizes new HW, and install apropriate ActivKey Sim drivers.

I have the exact same issue as the OP, does this mean that PKard software is no use to me as a solution for my token? Is there any other options i might have to get the device working? I have seen opensource options and from discussions i have had with several work colleagues, they are able to get to the point where the token appears in keychains but there is no content visible on the device, however plugging into a Windows box the same device works fine. This is the only issue for me to be able to work entirely on my macbook pro without having to fire up a Windows VM. Am I stuck using the VM method like the OP or does anyone have any other miraculous solutions?
